About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join its on‑site health team in Okinawa, Japan. The role involves delivering comprehensive social work services to both inpatient and outpatient populations within a military‑focused health setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect social work services, including individual, group, couples, and family counseling.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs, resources, and support systems.
• Develop and implement discharge plans, follow‑up care, and coordinate transfers to other facilities.
• Offer consultation to medical, nursing, and ancillary staff on psychosocial issues and patient care plans.
• Deliver crisis intervention and emergency preparedness support as required.
• Coordinate referrals and maintain relationships with civilian health and social service agencies.
• Present educational lectures and programs to military and community audiences.

Required profile

• Current, active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
• Eligibility to work on‑site in Okinawa, Japan.
• Experience providing social work services in a healthcare or military environment.
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
