Legal Support Specialist – Litigation Team (NY)

About the role

The premier law firm is seeking a Legal Support Specialist to join its Litigation team in New York. You will provide essential administrative and procedural assistance to attorneys, ensuring smooth case management and client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct e‑filings with state and federal courts and draft client correspondence.
• Assist with document production, formatting, and proofreading of pleadings.
• Enter, review, and revise attorney timesheets; maintain calendars and prepare timely client invoices.
• Schedule travel, create itinerary reports, and support trial preparation, including binder assembly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing workloads.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in e‑filing systems and legal document management.
• Experience with attorney timesheet software and calendar tools.
• Familiarity with trial binder preparation and travel coordination.
