Litigation Associate Attorney – New York (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a 2nd to 4th year Litigation Associate Attorney to join a leading Am Law 100 international law firm in New York. The role focuses on sophisticated commercial and financial services disputes, offering a hybrid work schedule with four days onsite and one day remote.

Key responsibilities

• Support active commercial and financial services litigation matters from early case assessment through discovery and dispositive motions.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery processes and electronic‑stored‑information (ESI) workflows.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions and hearings.
• Collaborate closely with senior lawyers on case strategy and client communications.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of commercial litigation experience in an Am Law 100 setting, preferably with financial services disputes.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Strong writing and analytical abilities, demonstrated through drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Excellent academic credentials from a highly regarded law school.
• Ability to meet an annual billable target of 2,000 hours.
• Federal clerkship or New York state court experience is a plus.
