Legal Engineer – Workflows Specialist for Large Law

About the role

LexisNexis, part of RELX, is seeking a senior Legal Engineer to design and implement custom AI‑driven workflows for large law firms. The role blends legal expertise with technology to help firms modernize their service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of bespoke workflows and vault templates for large‑law clients.
• Collaborate with firm stakeholders and LexisNexis sales/post‑sales teams to define scope and apply solutions to real client needs.
• Engage firm leadership, practice heads, attorneys, and knowledge‑management teams to drive adoption and sustained usage.
• Support demos and pilot programs that showcase the value of LexisNexis AI solutions.
• Act as the voice of the customer, identifying product gaps and working with product, engineering, and UX teams.
• Develop and maintain resources that support AI workflow strategy and successful firm rollouts.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree with at least 2 years recent experience at a large law firm (>50 attorneys), preferably in litigation or corporate law.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong executive presence, and the ability to build credibility with attorneys and firm leadership.
• Deep understanding of legal workflows, service‑delivery models, and day‑to‑day challenges faced by legal professionals.
• Demonstrated curiosity and practical experience applying AI and legal technology to improve workflows.
