Legal Claims Professional – Management Solutions Group

About the role

Zurich Insurance is seeking a Legal Claims Professional for its Management Solutions group. The role involves handling Private/Non-Profit D&O, EPL, and Fiduciary claims of moderate to high complexity with limited supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze coverage, liability, damages and exposure for claims.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations and draft reservation of rights and coverage denial letters.
• Communicate regularly with defense counsel, customers and brokers, and may be dedicated to specific accounts.
• Prepare case summary reports for significant reserve increases and trial preparation.
• Strategically direct claims to timely and appropriate resolutions while minimizing exposure.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor with at least 5 years of legal practice, preferably in insurance.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
• Experience in insurance claims, legal and regulatory environment, and negotiation.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
