Leasing Specialist – Sales Specialist

About the role

Sentral is seeking a Leasing Specialist (Sales Specialist) to join its Santa Monica community. The role focuses on delivering exceptional resident experiences while quickly leasing available homes to protect the community’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily leasing activities, including marketing units, conducting tours, and processing lease applications.
• Maintain accurate resident and prospect records in the property management software.
• Coordinate move‑ins, handle rent payments, security deposits, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and local regulations.
• Support office operations, assist the maintenance team, and help organize resident events and newsletters.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• At least one year of customer‑service experience and one year of apartment leasing experience (lease‑up experience preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Experience using property management software for data entry and reporting.
