Leasing Professional - Villas at the Gardens

About the role

A full-time Leasing Professional is needed for the Villas at the Gardens community in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The role coordinates the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals, handling leasing to new residents, keeping residents satisfied and securing lease renewals. The community is stabilized with 270 units.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and lease apartments: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule outstanding items with maintenance.
• Track market and competitor conditions, develop marketing plans and follow concession and special programs to sustain occupancy.
• Run marketing activities such as resident referrals, employer outreach and online advertising, and use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition and follow up with prospects and new residents.
• Support lease renewals with renewal letters and packages, and respond promptly to resident and owner concerns.

Required profile

• 1 year of sales experience and 2+ years of customer service experience.
• All state and local licenses and certifications required, and a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help, and work in all weather; occasional travel to other properties or training; flexible schedule including call-outs on evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Hourly pay of $22-$23 in Rancho Cucamonga, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses for onsite positions.
