Housekeeper (Lease-Up)

About the role

A full-time Housekeeper (Lease-Up) is needed at The Waylon in Austin, Texas. The role keeps vacant apartment homes, the leasing office and other amenities clean and well presented so they stay appealing to prospective tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Clean the leasing office, clubhouse, common-area restrooms, model units, amenities and vacant apartment homes daily or as directed by the supervisor.
• Keep vacant units and show units freshened throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal.
• Assist with make-ready by doing extra duties requested by the Service Manager, Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
• Report hazards or dangerous situations to the supervisor.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and tell the supervisor when a reorder is needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Able to stand, walk or sit for long periods, bend, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and crawl in confined spaces.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather and to lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help.
• Flexible schedule, including call-outs on evenings, weekends and holidays; occasional travel to other properties or training.

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $16.00 - $20.00, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses depending on whether the role is corporate or onsite.
