Leasing Professional – Vander Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for the Vander community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals through proactive leasing activities and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other platforms.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to perform full‑cycle leasing activities and deliver high‑quality resident experiences.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market trends and competitive positioning.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills for interacting with prospects and residents.
