Leasing Consultant (Lease-Up) – The Pointe at Lakewood Ranch

About the role

The Leasing Consultant (Lease‑Up) at The Pointe at Lakewood Ranch is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention through proactive marketing, leasing and renewal activities. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through tours, applications and move‑in while supporting existing residents throughout their lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct property tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and prepare lease and move‑in packages to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs, employer outreach and internet marketing initiatives.
• Utilize the on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, manage prospect data and analyze demographic trends.
• Maintain show‑ready units and common areas, coordinating with maintenance to ensure high presentation standards.
• Support the lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents ahead of move‑out dates and following the Active Adult renewal playbook.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality or related field preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in leasing, sales, marketing or customer service within the multifamily or real‑estate sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain lease terms and property features.
• Mathematical ability to process sales conversions and financial documents.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Experience using property management and CRM software for leasing and data analysis.
• Ability to conduct internet marketing and advertising for residential communities.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Any state or local licensing or certifications required for leasing activities.
