Leasing Consultant – Icon Riverwalk

About the role

The Leasing Consultant will drive occupancy and revenue for the Icon Riverwalk community by guiding prospective residents through the leasing process and supporting current residents throughout their lease term. This position works closely with the Lifestyle Coordinator and property management team to ensure a high‑level resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, qualify, and tour prospects; conduct property showings and answer questions about community amenities.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Collect and record prospective resident information at move‑in.
• Maintain and update leads in the CRM system, analyze data, and generate reports.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and execute concessions or specials as approved.
• Collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator to plan resident events and enhance engagement.
• Manage lease renewals, ensuring alignment with Greystar best practices and resident satisfaction goals.

Required profile

• Active New Jersey Real Estate License (required for employment).
• Professional demeanor with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail and adherence to Greystar’s ethical standards.
