Learning Execution Manager (Virtual)

About the role

The Learning Execution Manager (LEM) at The Home Depot is responsible for executing learning and development solutions. The LEM manages learning programs and processes so that learners across a diverse set of audiences receive a simple, relevant and effective experience. The role builds strong relationships with customers and partners with business and HR teams on future strategic initiatives. It is a virtual position based in Georgia.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director/Senior Manager of Learning Strategy in identifying learner needs by role and content area, contribute to designing learning solutions, and manage independent learning projects (10%).
• Build relationships with business, HR and Learning partners, communicate program status to stakeholders, and partner with Design, Development, Technology and Delivery teams to deliver effective learning solutions (20%).
• Partner with the Learning Strategy Manager to keep learning plans current, monitor and report on solution effectiveness, and assess the impact of learning on business and individual performance (25%).
• Forecast training demand, create scalable approaches to delivery, manage project plans and ongoing programs, deploy learning programs and reporting in the Learning Management System, and manage program expenses and budgets (45%).

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, learning and development, human resource development or a related field.
• Preferred: 2 years in retail or an equivalent experience, and 4 years of total experience.
• Preferred: experience in learning and development or a related industry, and project management experience with cross-functional teams.
• Typical reporting line to a Senior Director, Director or Senior Manager; no direct reports.
