Lead Producer - YouTube Content

About the role

Airrack, a small team behind ambitious, innovative YouTube videos, is looking for an experienced producer in Los Angeles. You will work closely with creative to turn a concept into a practical plan, liaise with legal when needed, oversee the AP and JP across all productions and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full production from concept handoff through shoot day and wrap.
• Work with creative to flesh out concepts, research their needs and outline how a video will look and feel, pitching alternatives when needed.
• Work with legal to research and clear what the production requires.
• Coordinate locations, talent, experts, permits, props and other elements of the concept.
• Build and manage production plans, call sheets and shot lists.
• Oversee the AP and JP with clear deliverables and follow-through.
• Make fast decisions on the ground when things shift and keep the production moving.
• Manage brand integrations and external relationships tied to the video, and keep all departments informed with clear updates.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience as a producer, preferably in YouTube, digital content or fast-paced unscripted production.
• Track record of running full productions independently with nothing dropped.
• Strong creative judgment and operational discipline; comfortable making high-stakes calls quickly with limited information.
• Humble, collaborative and easy to work with.

Bonus points

• Solid network of production contacts across locations, crew, talent and vendors.
• Background or skills in directing, field producing or creative producing.
