Lead Preschool Teacher for 2‑Year‑Olds

About the role

Cadence Academy Preschool is looking for an enthusiastic Lead Teacher to guide and inspire a class of 2‑year‑old children. You will create a warm, safe environment where young learners can explore, play, and develop foundational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a daily, age‑appropriate curriculum that balances quiet time, active play, indoor/outdoor activities, and fine/gross motor development.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom setting and model kindness, social skills, and curiosity.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan lessons, share resources, and ensure consistency across the program.
• Communicate daily milestones and observations to parents, turning small moments into meaningful memories.
• Guide play with toys, language activities, and structured learning experiences while prioritizing safety.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18.
• At least 6 months experience as a preschool teacher or in a licensed daycare.
• Flexibility to work during standard business hours.
• Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a college degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
