Lead Lifeguard - Loews Hotels Universal Orlando

About the role

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is hiring a Lead Lifeguard for its hotel pools. The role keeps guests safe in the pool areas while working alongside other lifeguards on duty. The hotel is part of Loews Hotels & Co, which has operated hotels and resorts since 1960.

Key responsibilities

• Keep up with all certifications and training required under the Lifeguard Certification Program.
• Maintain guest safety in all pool areas, following pool safety standards consistently.
• Perform daily safety checks of the pool area and slides for potential hazards.
• Follow pool safety standards, including procedures for adverse weather conditions.
• Support all lifeguards on duty.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous lifeguard experience is required.
• Strong swimming ability and water confidence.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests.
• Able to work outdoors for long periods and to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
