Lead Aircraft Technician – H125 FAL

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Lead Aircraft Technician to join the H125 Final Assembly Line (FAL) team in Columbus, MS. You will lead a section of technicians, ensuring aircraft are built and inspected to schedule and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize workload for the assigned section to meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Assign workforce, monitor workflow, and drive performance to achieve schedule and hour goals.
• Provide technical expertise for aircraft installations, perform electrical and mechanical work, and inspect completed work.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to resolve daily challenges and ensure parts availability.

Required profile

• Minimum eight (8) years of rotary aircraft experience, including at least two (2) years as a senior technician.
• Helicopter maintenance background with ability to assess aircraft status and prioritize tasks.
• Experience evaluating lower‑level technicians, inspecting their work, and making complex installation decisions.
• US Person status under ITAR (U.S. citizen, green‑card holder, or authorized).
