Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician – $10k Bonus

About the role

Breeze Airways is seeking an experienced Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform maintenance on its fleet. The role combines hands‑on technical work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency at the local station.

Key responsibilities

• Assign, lead, and direct the work of other AMTs under your supervision.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual, FAA regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate aircraft status with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) and complete all required Breeze forms.
• Handle parts, units, and assemblies safely throughout the repair process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of discrepancies, corrective actions, and inspection results.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and fully equipped; account for tools and equipment after each task.
• Notify supervisors of any condition that could affect airworthiness.
• Maintain a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and make it available for inspection.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license with no infractions.
• Recent experience performing maintenance on commercial aircraft.

Required skills

• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
• Commercial aircraft maintenance.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance.

What we offer

• Up to $39.00 hourly starting pay, based on experience.
• $2.00 shift differential for night shifts (9 PM – 7:30 AM).
• $10,000 cash bonus split into $5,000 after six months and $5,000 after twelve months of service.
