About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a Laundry Technician to support the Environmental Services Department on an as‑needed (PRN) basis. The role ensures clean linen is available for the medical center and its ancillary facilities while adhering to infection‑control standards and departmental policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Sort, weigh, and log soiled linen; load washers with appropriate settings based on linen type, weight, and soil level.
  • Transfer washed items to dryers, fold linens neatly, and distribute them to designated areas according to schedule.
  • Maintain a clean laundry area, refill supplies, and use chemicals safely.
  • Complete required Healthstream education courses and follow attendance guidelines.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Meet local health regulations, including criminal background check and reference inquiry.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of commercial linen cleaning equipment.
  • Basic computer proficiency for logging and scheduling.
