About the role
Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is hiring a Laundry Attendant for its laundry operation in Apopka, FL. The position is responsible for folding and feeding linen and operating laundry equipment according to hotel standards. Key responsibilities
- Fold and feed linen
- Hand-fold terry items, blankets and spreads
- Operate assigned equipment in accordance with hotel standards and safety guidelines
- Maintain production reports and quotas
Required profile
- Previous experience in commercial laundry, warehouse or housekeeping is preferred
- Comfortable working in hot, humid and noisy environments
- Able to stand, sit, stoop, bend and walk for prolonged periods during a full shift
- Able to regularly push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs
- Effective verbal communication in English with team members, leaders and guests
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
