About the role
Maryland Environmental Service is hiring Laborers to support general maintenance, operations, and construction activities at the Midshore II Regional Landfill and the Caroline County Homeowner Drop‑off site.
Key responsibilities
- Provide general maintenance support for daily landfill operations and construction projects.
- Assist with site upkeep, cleaning, and basic repairs at assigned facilities.
- Follow scheduled work hours for full‑time (Mon‑Fri) and part‑time (Thu, Fri, Sat) shifts.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED (or 8th grade plus one year of relevant work experience).
- Valid driver’s license with fewer than 5 points.
- Ability to pass background check, drug & alcohol screening, and a position‑specific physical.
