Part‑Time Lecturer – Construction Management

About the role

The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University seeks a non‑tenure‑track part‑time lecturer to teach graduate‑level courses in Construction Management for the MS in Project Management program. The role involves delivering on‑campus and/or online instruction at the Portland, ME campus.

Key responsibilities

• Teach graduate courses within the Construction Management concentration, such as Introduction to Construction Management, Alternative Project Delivery Methods, Safety, Project Risk & Quality Management, and Construction Law.
• Develop and deliver course materials, assess student performance, and support certificate program instruction.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCM) and at least 10 years of industry experience at the construction/project manager level.
• Experience teaching at the graduate level is strongly preferred.

Required skills
