Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison among the university, consultants, and contractors, overseeing procurement, project administration, scope definition, contract management, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and prioritize programs/projects based on measurement criteria.
• Manage contract scope definitions, negotiations, administration, and change order control.
• Control costs, schedules, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with the Director of Work Management to create metrics and corrective action recommendations.
• Supervise administrative staff, assistant project managers, and other personnel as required by project scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university.
• Five to ten years of experience in construction, architecture, or project management.
• Strong independent work capability on complex tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize workload, and identify project needs proactively.
