Labor & Delivery RN with $8/hr Specialty Pay

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking an experienced full‑time Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join its LDRP team in beautiful Montana. The position includes an additional $8 per hour specialty differential and offers a supportive environment focused on high‑quality, compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately assess patients across Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum phases.
• Provide exceptional care for laboring mothers, assist with safe newborn deliveries, and implement timely nursing interventions.
• Critically interpret outcomes, respond quickly to condition changes, and communicate effectively with providers.

Required profile

• Current RN Compact license without restrictions.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, preferably in Labor & Delivery with couplet care.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work collaboratively as a team player.

Required skills

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Course.
• Experience with Meditech or other EMR systems.
