Lab Technician / Medical Assistant – Grandview Clinic

About the role

This hybrid/float position at the Grandview clinic supports patient care by collecting and processing laboratory specimens under direct supervision. The role also assists with patient flow and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and document specimens according to orders and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Perform specimen analysis for chemistry, hematology, and immunology tests.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, conduct routine instrument maintenance, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Process orders, chart results promptly, and send specimens to reference labs when required.
• Handle phlebotomy, inventory management, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in laboratory testing.

Required skills

• Phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of CLIA guidelines and quality control procedures.
• Inventory management of lab supplies.
