Registered Nurse – Grandview Cancer Clinic

About the role

This full‑time position provides professional nursing care to oncology patients at the Grandview Cancer Clinic, serving a diverse age range from late adolescence to elderly.

Key responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under physician supervision.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures and maintain efficient patient flow.
• Record vital signs, allergies, medication changes, and other patient data.
• Monitor patient conditions, assess lab results and imaging, and initiate appropriate actions.
• Operate, maintain, and clean ambulatory infusion pumps, including dose modification and patient education.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and manage central line catheters.
• Complete chemotherapy charge forms, ensure pre‑authorizations and consent forms are obtained.
• Document nursing assessments, patient teaching, and medication administration in the patient chart.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience with chemotherapy administration is highly preferred.
