About the role
Mill Creek Elementary School is seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to lead a classroom of five‑year‑old students for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The position starts at 7:30 AM and follows the school’s standard schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and deliver instruction based on the approved K‑5 curriculum.
- Monitor, evaluate, and communicate student progress through records and reports.
- Enforce Board policies, regulations, and rules within the classroom.
- Supervise students, ensuring a safe learning environment and securing school property and materials.
Required profile
- Valid Kentucky certification appropriate for the grade level (K‑5).
- Experience and preparation as required by the Board.

- Salary Schedule III with a pay range of $48,479.56 – $98,587.95 per year.
- 187 working days per year, 7‑hour school days.
