Kids Ministry Early Childhood Coordinator

About the role

Crossroads Bible Church is looking for a Kids Ministry Early Childhood Coordinator who loves working with families and young children. The role supports Sunday morning and mid‑week programming, creating safe, age‑appropriate environments where children can grow in their knowledge of the Word.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Kids Ministry Director, Women’s Ministry team, and Curriculum Coordinator to design clean, safe spaces and spiritual support for families.
• Recruit, develop, schedule, and shepherd leaders, assistant leaders, and Serve Team members for both mid‑week and Sunday early childhood programs.
• Set up and maintain Planning Center Check‑Ins and Services for programming needs.
• Assist with Kids Ministry events, attend staff meetings, main services, and all‑staff prayer meetings.

Required profile

• Experience working with preschool‑age children (preschool teacher experience preferred).
• Demonstrated servant leadership, humility, teachable spirit, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to the church’s vision, core values, and biblical character standards (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1).

Required skills

• Ability to train, delegate, and empower volunteers.
• Proficiency with productivity software, email, file‑sharing, and online communication tools for project management and scheduling.
• Experience using Planning Center for check‑ins and service coordination.

What we offer

• Hourly pay $22.00‑$27.00 with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 403(b) retirement, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.
• Full‑time, non‑exempt position (40 hours/week) with flexible mid‑week hours and occasional weekend work for events.
