Key Account Manager

About the role

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with assigned customers at the local level, acting as the primary point of contact and driving revenue growth through strategic collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior leaders within assigned customer accounts.
• Deploy and execute the global account strategy in alignment with the Global Account Manager.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers’ business objectives, challenges, R&D priorities and strategic requirements to align company solutions.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow revenue through upselling, cross‑selling and expanding the scope of services.
• Lead technical discussions and support customer decision‑making while ensuring compliance with internal engineering standards.
• Develop and execute account plans to achieve order intake, sales and margin targets in collaboration with local and global teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Management or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience in sales and/or account management, preferably within industrial or flow‑control sectors.
• Strong ability to understand customer needs and align solutions with business objectives.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior management.
