Junior Cyber Analyst

About the role

The Cyber & Analytics Business Unit with the Intel Sector at Leidos is hiring a Junior Cyber Analyst to support USCYBERCOM. The role helps advance USCYBERCOM, the CNMF and JTF-ARES as they transform under USCYBERCOM 2.0, the 2026 National Cyber Strategy and the USCYBERCOM AI Strategy, moving from opportunistic AI to systemic adoption. The posting covers multiple opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support approved plans development and staffing processes so that full-spectrum Cyberspace Operations can run according to USCYBERCOM planning guidance and Joint publications.
• Develop and synchronize OCO into plans to deliver integrated cyber effects against adversary systems, supporting Joint and National strategic objectives.
• Draft and staff foundational planning documents such as Operational Plans (OPLANS), Operational Orders (OPORDs) and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).
• Support targeting selection, validation and synchronization, and integrate it into Cyber Warfare activities.
• Work with Joint Operational Planning Groups and Teams (OPG/OPT) and integrate cyberspace capabilities into plans, developing concepts of support, courses of action and comprehensive plans.
• Provide situational awareness to projects, Crisis Action Teams and current operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cyber threats, attack methods and techniques from state and non-state adversaries and tiered vulnerabilities in Blue Space.
• Review, approve and prioritize operational requirements for research, development and acquisition of cyber capabilities, and maintain deliberate and crisis plans.
• Communicate complex information clearly and confidently verbally, in writing and visually.

Required profile

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required for consideration.
• High school diploma with less than 2 years of relevant cybersecurity knowledge or experience.
