Junior Analyst

About the role

Spin Global is seeking a motivated Junior Analyst to support its mission of disrupting disasters. The role is primarily remote with a preference for candidates based in Washington D.C. and may involve travel to project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional services and project implementation support to clients, ensuring contract obligations are met.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs, execute deliverables, and maintain satisfaction through communication and problem‑solving.
• Contribute to emergency management planning teams developing all‑hazards and incident‑specific plans at various jurisdictional levels.
• Conduct research and analysis to support technical deliverables, plan refinement, exercise development, and policy documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Professional experience in emergency management planning and a demonstrated understanding of planning processes.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Required skills

• Incident Command System (ICS) certification.
• National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification.
