Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Spark Power Corp USA is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team in the Atlanta, Georgia area with the ability to travel as needed for work. The role involves installation of electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications, performing jobs safely and efficiently, and keeping customers and equipment running.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety in the workplace and lead by example.
• Install electrical components such as panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting.
• Install conduit and wire, terminating conductors.
• Troubleshoot circuitry and replace damaged components on industrial equipment and systems.
• Order required parts and control all job materials using the computer system.
• Complete work orders as per client specifications and review the completed job with the customer.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Proactively prepare for upcoming work.
• Interact with various individuals at different levels within the company.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial and/or institutional sectors.
• A valid state Electrician license is preferred.
• Experience with conduit runs 1/2' - 2' (EMT, GRC, PVC coated and stainless steel).
• Able to troubleshoot complex industrial installations.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of relevant electrical codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs, email, and time entry systems.
• Ability to travel as needed.
