Machine Operator – Day/A Shift (12‑hr)

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Operator to work the 12‑hour A‑shift in our Atlanta plant. The operator will run blow‑mold, PET and injection molding machines, as well as grinders, trimmers and conveyor systems to produce quality bottles while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key responsibilities

• Operate blow‑mold, PET and injection molding machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to meet production targets.
• Run grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems, keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Perform bottle inspections, drop tests, audits, weight checks and quality checks during production, packaging and labeling.
• Troubleshoot process problems, make minor equipment repairs, and execute preventive maintenance on molds, necks, blow pins and related mechanical components.
• Document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and maintenance requests.
• Monitor and replenish packaging material supplies, ensure correct labeling and packaging per customer requirements, and move finished goods to designated areas.
• Escalate any bottle abnormalities, defects or quality issues immediately.
• Adhere to safety policies, wear required PPE, and follow corporate and plant safety standards.
