Systems Engineer

About the role

This position offers a creative and results‑driven Systems Engineer the chance to impact a high‑tech, solution‑oriented organization. You will join an interdisciplinary technical team that validates, tests, and delivers Dematic solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Validate as‑sold solutions at hand‑over from Sales to Project execution.
• Participate in engineering discussions, layout and controls workshops with internal teams and customers.
• Generate system specifications, define interfaces, and coordinate simulation updates.
• Create and execute test plans, including FAT, system integration, throughput, and acceptance testing.
• Guide system tuning and adjustments based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of engineering experience, preferably in material handling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with customers.
• Collaborative team player comfortable working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the year.
