Janitor/Busser – Restaurant Team Member

About the role

Join the Chuy’s team as a Janitor/Busser and help keep our restaurant fresh, clean, and welcoming for every guest. You will work alongside both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff to ensure dining areas and the entire facility are spotless.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, chairs, and floors.
• Support the kitchen and service teams by clearing tables and removing debris promptly.
• Perform routine janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal throughout the restaurant.
• Ensure restrooms and back‑of‑house areas are kept sanitary and stocked.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining spaces for special events.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering a clean environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members.
• Flexible schedule availability to meet restaurant needs.

Required skills

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to follow health‑and‑safety guidelines.
