iOS / Swift Software Engineer III

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is looking for an experienced iOS Software Engineer III to join its Consumer and Community Bank team. You will work within an agile environment to design, develop, and maintain market‑leading mobile applications that are secure, stable, and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot native iOS solutions using modern Swift patterns.
• Write secure, high‑quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests (XCTest) and UI tests (XCUITest).
• Leverage enterprise‑authorized AI coding‑assist tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Analyze large data sets to identify hidden problems and drive improvements in code hygiene and system architecture.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 3+ years of applied experience in native mobile application development.
• Strong commitment to test‑driven development and CI/CD pipelines.

Required skills

• Swift programming (async/await, Combine)
• iOS frameworks: UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Core Data
• Design patterns: MVC, MVVM, Coordinator, SOLID
• Unit testing with XCTest and UI testing with XCUITest
• CI/CD tools (Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Git
• Modularization, dependency injection, reusable iOS components
