Internal Business Broker – Buyside

About the role

BizScout is looking for an experienced Internal Business Broker to join its Austin team. You will act as the primary point of contact for high‑intent buyers, guiding them through the entire acquisition journey and ensuring smooth, timely closings.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and build a pipeline of buyer leads through cold calling, email campaigns and other outreach methods.
• Develop detailed buyer profiles that highlight financial capacity, interests and acquisition goals.
• Source high‑fit businesses using BizScout’s marketplace, off‑market leads and additional channels.
• Initiate outreach to sellers and brokers, managing the early stages of negotiations.
• Support buyers throughout the M&A process, leveraging your expertise to overcome obstacles and close deals.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of business brokerage or related experience.
• Strong consultative sales ability and professional demeanor.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Creative problem‑solving and independent decision‑making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, prospects and deals simultaneously while maintaining discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.
