Insurance Sales Representative

About the role

Monika Tumber Farmers Insurance Agency in North Richland Hills, Texas, is hiring full-time Insurance Sales Representatives to join its growing team. The agency provides auto, home, business and life insurance to protect clients and their assets. The position involves developing quotes, making sales presentations and closing sales, with a base salary of $40,000 to $80,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations and close sales
• Communicate with hot leads and establish client relationships, following up as needed
• Understand prospect needs and identify sales opportunities
• Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
• Explain and demonstrate the benefits of the services offered
• Stay informed about competing products and services
• Cold call and perform other lead generation activities

Required profile

• Insurance experience is required
• An active Texas Property & Casualty General Lines license is required
• An active Texas Life and Health license is preferred, or the willingness to obtain one
• Sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behaviour
• Coachable, confident self-starter who works well independently
