Instrument Fitter

About the role

The Instrument Fitter will perform installations on various equipment, interpreting electrical and mechanical code specifications and blueprints. The role emphasizes safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret P&ID, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams to perform installations.
• Lay out, measure, bend, cut, and assemble tubing according to design specifications.
• Install tubing, clamps, and support systems into tray systems.
• Understand customer requirements quickly and propose suitable solutions.
• Perform all tasks with minimal supervision while recognizing safety hazards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
• Capability to layout, measure, and bend tubing per design specifications.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
