About the role

Texas A&M University‑Victoria seeks a full‑time Instructor of Nursing to teach in the RN to BSN and Concurrent Enrollment programs on the Victoria campus, starting January 2027.

Key responsibilities

Teach undergraduate nursing courses in various formats (online, traditional, hybrid) for RN to BSN and Concurrent Enrollment programs.
Provide academic support, mentoring, and guidance to nursing students, including practicing RNs returning for a BSN.
Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and community partners to support student recruitment, retention, and success.

Required profile

Active, unencumbered RN license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain one).
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or doctoral degree in nursing or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Professional nursing experience and ability to teach diverse student populations.
Commitment to evidence‑based practice, quality and safety, leadership, and clinical decision‑making in instruction.
