About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Maryland Environmental Service as an Inspector on the Poplar Island Environmental Restoration Project located near Tilghman Island, Talbot County, Maryland. The position is full‑time and involves field work in various weather conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and operate spillways.
- Prepare operational reports.
- Perform facility maintenance.
- Operate facility crew vessels to access the site.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED plus at least one year of related work experience (or two years of related post‑secondary education).
- Ability to pass a physical exam, lift 50 lb, and hold a valid driver’s license with fewer than five points.
- Willingness to work shift schedules and overtime during peak periods.
