About the role
The Inside Sales Representative supports Outside Sales Representatives and assists phone and walk‑in customers, building trust and lasting business relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Process customer orders and coordinate with dispatch for truck deliveries.
- Manage rail delivery orders, coordinate with loading supervisors and railroad services.
- Assist contract truck drivers by generating loading tickets for order pick‑ups.
- Answer product inquiries, process orders, and issue loading tickets or payment receipts for phone and walk‑in customers.
- Verify brick availability through inventory systems and communicate with loading yard supervisors.
- Notify customers when orders are ready and coordinate delivery logistics by truck or rail.
- Compile data, prepare reports, and handle routine correspondence.
