Inpatient Pharmacy Technician – Part‑Time

About the role

The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists at Marymount Hospital, preparing and delivering medications to patient care areas while maintaining inventory and records. This part‑time position works rotating day and evening shifts within a 6:00 am‑9:30 pm window.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare medications through selection, labeling, repacking, non‑sterile and sterile compounding.
• Deliver medications to appropriate storage locations promptly and accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventories, conduct cycle counts and nursing unit inspections.
• Document regulatory requirements such as temperature logs and training records.
• Utilize pharmacy information systems, technology and automation to complete tasks.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA at hire.
• Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as Certified, Registered, or Trainee (must upgrade to Certified within 6 months).
• Understanding of algebraic calculations for extemporaneous compounds.
