Information Systems Generalist

About the role

This part‑time position supports Caring Network’s technology operations from the Glen Ellyn office and includes up to 20% travel to clinics in the Chicagoland area. The role coordinates IT support, asset management, cybersecurity initiatives, and technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary daily contact with the Managed Services Provider, coordinate on‑site visits, and review invoicing.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle from procurement to secure decommissioning and maintain accurate inventory.
• Administer the organization’s cybersecurity training, monitor vulnerability testing, and assist with incident response.
• Support technology projects, manage software licensing (Microsoft 365, Adobe, Power BI, ChatGPT Team), and control user access.

Required profile

• Committed Christian who aligns with Caring Network’s Statements of Faith and Core Values.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑science related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and customer‑service skills, able to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
