Information System Security Officer

About the role

The Information System Security Officer will support the implementation and enforcement of information system security policies for critical national security initiatives. You will work on enterprise‑scale cybersecurity systems, ensuring classified information is protected while fostering knowledge sharing across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on cybersecurity support to implement and enforce information system security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation for security accreditations and system security plans.
• Evaluate and evolve security solutions to meet requirements for processing classified information.
• Coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies across the enterprise.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
• Ten (10) years of relevant experience in information security.
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification and Security+ certification.

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis abilities.
• Effective communication to translate technical concepts between development teams and end‑users.
• Experience with enterprise‑scale cybersecurity systems and security accreditation processes.
