Industrial Utilities & Facilities Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Unit Manager is responsible for ensuring all equipment in the assigned area operates at designed capacity. This includes overseeing reactive, preventive and proactive maintenance to achieve 100% scheduled maintenance while managing budgets and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a “Safety Always” culture and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, processes and procedures to optimise equipment uptime (MTTR, MTBF, OEE).
• Manage maintenance budgets, material spending and capital expenditure forecasting.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performance maintenance team across day and night shifts.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, introduce new equipment and dispose of obsolete assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or related engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• 4+ years of progressive manufacturing maintenance or engineering experience, including 2‑4 years in a managerial role.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Predictive, preventive and proactive maintenance methodologies.
• Root cause analysis and problem‑solving.
• Knowledge of MTTR, MTBF and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Budget and capital expenditure management.
