Industrial Superintendent

About the role

Greystar is seeking a hands‑on Industrial Superintendent to lead ground‑up industrial construction projects in St Petersburg, overseeing everything from earthwork to tilt‑up erection and ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and built right.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the build from site development, mass grading, underground utility installation, to tilt‑up panel construction, reviewing plans, inspecting work, and enforcing safety and quality.
• Own the project budget end‑to‑end, reviewing and approving vendor invoices, tracking spend, and flagging financial needs early.
• Build and manage the project schedule, anticipating weather and soil challenges to keep the timeline intact.
• Oversee contractors and manpower on‑site, inspect work for safety and spec compliance, and adjust staffing to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Communicate clear, timely updates to business leaders, equity partners, and stakeholders.
• Assemble and lead an onsite crew, selecting the right civil, underground utility, and tilt‑up trade partners.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience on ground‑up construction projects, including heavy civil/dirt work, underground utilities, and tilt‑up construction.
• Adaptable attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong relationship‑building skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex, evolving project schedules with precision.
