Freelance AutoCAD Architect for Luxury Residential Projects

About the role

We are seeking talented freelance architects to support a boutique architecture firm in Tampa on several luxury custom‑home projects. The role is fully remote and focuses on both design development and construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and detailed design development (DD) sets for luxury residences.
• Prepare permit sets, complete construction document (CD) sets, and manage redlines to ensure consistency.
• Research materials, building systems, zoning and code requirements throughout the project.
• Collaborate with consultants, interior designers, and builders to deliver refined, detail‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury custom single‑family residential architecture, preferably in Florida.
• Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• High proficiency in AutoCAD.
• High proficiency in SketchUp.
• Experience producing detailed construction documents from concept through completion.
