Industrial Electrician

About the role

Michelin is hiring an Industrial Electrician in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Industrial Electrician plans, organizes, directs and performs electrical and electronic maintenance to maximise production while ensuring product quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in preventive maintenance (PMs).
• Establish machine repair priorities.
• Input and manage data for the BMA system, calling the manager, P01 or other manual systems.
• Troubleshoot machinery in the assigned areas of the manufacturing process.
• Interface with production, quality, engineering and support functions.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures whenever working on equipment.
• Perform repairs and PMs that affect tire uniformity and quality.
• Ensure timely technical progression to meet job-level expectations.
