Independent Field Sales Consultant

About the role

Panoptyc is seeking experienced B2B sales professionals across the United States to act as independent field sales consultants. This flexible, project‑based position allows you to represent the company in person when local sales opportunities arise, while the internal team handles prospecting and deal strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Visit prospect offices or business locations in your market.
• Meet with owners, operators, and senior decision‑makers.
• Deliver a concise introduction or product pitch.
• Demonstrate the solution and ask predefined discovery questions.
• Build rapport, gather feedback, and collect relevant account information.
• Help secure follow‑up meetings or advance existing opportunities.
• Provide a clear recap to Panoptyc’s internal sales team after each visit.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Backgrounds such as Account Executive, Outside Sales Representative, Territory Sales Representative, Business Development Representative, Field Sales Representative, or Independent Sales Representative.
• Comfortable meeting prospects and senior decision‑makers in person.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building, and a professional presence.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to quickly learn and convey a B2B technology offering.
