In-Home Caregiver (Kupuna)

About the role

BAYADA is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides to provide in‑home support for adults on the Big Island. You will help clients stay safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and run errands as needed.
• Support mobility with transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Offer medication reminders and assist with range‑of‑motion exercises.

Required profile

• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes and a current driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
• Minimum one‑year verifiable work experience or CNA certification (training provided if needed).
